"Love's Sorrow". Sheet music edition based on the 1911 London recording of Fritz Kreisler (1875–1962) and Haddon Squire

Description

This sheet music edition of Fritz Kreisler's (1875–1962) “Love's Sorrow“, a character piece for violin and piano (first published in 1910), reproduces his own performance practice in the way he recorded it for the gramophone (London / “His Master's Voice“, 1911, his second recording of the piece) together with Haddon Squire (p). The performance was analysed both by close listening and by means of spectrograms, using the software SonicVisualiser.
