A new flavonol glycoside 1, m.p. 173-175 °C, mol. formula : C23H24O12 [M+) 492 (FABMS) has been isolated from ethanolic extract of Sida rhombifolia. Compound 1 has been characterized as 5,4' -dihydroxy-6, 7- dimethoxyflavonoi-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside by chemical, spectral and elemental analysis.
