Description
Xylopsocus acutespinosus Lesne, 1906: 424. (Fig. 6B)
Distribution in mainland China: SN (Chu & Zhang 1997). New record for YN #, Puer, Jingdong, Ailaoshan, 24°31.49’N 101°0.52’E, 2493m, 11.v.2019, FIT, F. Luo & L.Z. Meng (2) (NME).
Other distribution. India, Nepal, Burma, Thailand, Laos (Liu & Beaver 2018).
Biology. The collection localities indicate that the species is montane, occurring at altitudes above 1500m.
