Combining the Complex Step and iterative schemes for the approximation of Fréchet derivatives and the evaluation of matrix functions in automorphism groups
Description
We provide MATLAB-Codes for the computation of the sign, polar and square root function as well as their Fréchet derivatives using the Complex Step approach in combination with Iterative schemes. Additionally, our approach allows us to preserve automorphism group structure throughout the iteration.
