Description
Orwellium enigmaticum is described as a new genus and species. This species is endemic to the Valdivian forests of Chile. The genus is hypothesized to be the sister-group of the subfamily Platygastrinae sensu lato (i.e., including both Platygastrinae and Sceliotrachelinae).
