Is Anybody Listening? Tracking the impact of research on government policy at overton.io

If your organization is keen to influence policy then you've almost certainly seen projects to map research outputs and subject areas to the UN SDGs. That's a useful first step but if we're interested in actually following pathways to impact we need to move beyond the traditional scholarly literature and start looking at the publicly available policy documents and the knowledge brokers who sit in-between policymakers and academia. We'll present a quick model for this and outline some of the most common policy impact pathways we've seen.
