Description

These files are used for the validation of a newly developed ELM-Erosion model.

elm_erosion_hcru_2000-2014.nc: the simulated 0.5-deg resolution global soil erosion and sediment flux from 2000 to 2014.

soil_erosion_rusle_benchmark_25km.nc: the RUSLE-based 25-km resolution soil erosion benchmark data of Borrelli et al. (2017).

WBMsed30min_MOSART_noDams+Dist_30min_aTS1980-2017.nc: the WBMsed simulated 0.5-deg resolution global pre-dam sediment flux data.

journal.pone.0211325.s003_corrected.xlsx: the catchment-scale soil erosion data of Mishra et al. (2019).

1-s2.0-S004896972101562X-mmc2_erosion.xlsx: the catchment-scale soil erosion data of Borrelli et al. (2021) that exclude sole model-based estimates.
