Analysis of Production impact and Logistics management sub-systems of Industry 4.0 for an Enterprise in Assam during covid pandemic 2019-21

The objective of the present investigation is to realize the effect of implementation of Logistics4.0 sub-systems of Industry4.0 for an Enterprise in Assam. There is a negative gross domestic product (GDP) growth of -7.2 percent in 2020-21 in India because of covid 19 pandemic, frequent prolonged lockdowns, illness of employees, lack of transport and logistics support for inbound and outbound raw materials and finished products. The study is considered to highlight the challenges faced by the MSME’s of Assam and as well as their future opportunities by implementing proper advanced technologies and guidance. Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) which contributes 40% of production in India and these consist of 96% of total industries, so we can say that MSMEs are the actual backbone of Indian Industries. Modernization is eminent which should be achieved sustainably and economically. To explore the reasons in SMEs in Assam both online and off-line are considered. In the present study also included to find the reasons and their remedies which are responsible for low production and losses arise due to the restrictions followed for the pandemic. And bound to provide reliable suggestions so that the enterprise can thrives and overcome pandemics like COVID-19 in near future without compromising with production and distribution. This research considered an improved layout of an enterprise which is incorporated with modern equipment and material handling and logistics.
