Cyperus ascopinguis Goetgh., nom. nov.

Basionym: Ascolepis pinguis C.B.Clarke, Ann. Mus. Congo Belge, Bot., II, 1(2): 69 (Clarke 1900), non Cyperus pinguis (Clarke) Mattfeld & Kükenthal (Kükenthal 1936: 583). Lectotype (designated by Goetghebeur 1980: 295):

— CONGO. [ Kalemie ], June 1894, G. Descamp s.n. (holotype BR!).

Description: — Goetghebeur (1980: 295).
