Macrobiotus Fuhrmanni nov. spec. (Heinis 1914)
Terra typica: Colombia (South America)
Colombia:
• 06°16′N, 75°31′W; 2,550 m asl: Type Locality: Antioquia Department, laguna above Medellín, hepatic (Plagiochila ovifolia Steph.) on dry leaves. Heinis (1914)
Record numbers: Colombia: 1; total: 1.
Remarks: The original description (Heinis, 1914) was not sufficient to enable Marcus (1936) to attribute the species positively to the genus Hypsibius and the correct taxonomic position of this species is unclear (potentially Isohypsibius or Macrobiotus - Ramazzotti & Maucci 1983). With the exception of the original report (Heinis, 1914) this taxon has not been re-discovered and is currently endemic to Colombia.
