Synonymy: Paromalus complanatus: Lewis, 1892a: 33 (wrong identification).
Paromalus niponicus (sic!): Lewis, 1915: 56 (Horisha).
Material examined. No collecting data: 2 females (Y. Miwa det.); CHINA: Hubei: 3 males, 8 females, Shennongjia, Jiuchonggangou, 1240 m, net screen, 1998. VII.18, Haisheng Zhou coll.; 1 male, 1 female, Shennongjia, Jiuchonggangou, 1240–1800 m, net screen, 1998. VII.18, Haisheng Zhou coll.; Sichuan: 13 males, 14 females, Baoxing, Ruobigou, 1600 m, dead maple, 2003. VIII.13, Jie Wu coll.; 3 males, 4 females, Baoxing, Qingshangou, 1900 m, dead wood, 2003. VIII.6, Jie Wu coll.
Distribution. China (Hubei, Sichuan, Taiwan); Japan.
