Type locality: not specified in the original description. Lectotype designated by Kluge (1995) originate from the locality: Russia, Moskovskaia Guberniia [Province], Zvenigorodskii Uezd [District], Lutsinskoe peat bog.

Distribution: Eastern Europe from Russia and Belarus to the Ural Mountains (Kluge 1997), Slovakia (Soldán 1978).
