Atlantic Ocean:

22°23′N, 73°30′W [22°36′N, 73°30′W]; 0–3 bsl/ 0.1 m bsl: [FAO31] Commonwealth of the Bahamas, between Crooked and Mayaguna Islands, East Plana Cay, S coast beach, mid-tidal level, coralline sand. Pollock (1975b)

48°44′N, 03°59′W; 0 m bsl: [FAO27] France, Brittany Region, Roscoff, from pleotelson and pleopods of the isopod Limnoria lignorum (Rathke, 1799). Cantacuzène (1951)

39°52′00′′N, 16°42′30′′E; 20–80 m bsl: [FAO37] Italy, Cosenza Province, High Ionian Sea offshore, Calabrian Coast, Amendolara Shoal, coralligenous sand, coralligenous sand mixed with debris, coarse medium or fine coralligenous sand (few samples). Remarks: This is a rare species with a disjunct distribution known only from a few intertidal and deep subtidal localities. It has been recorded mainly from coral sand, however the distribution needs further study.
