Description

The article has reviewed the contemporary state of scientific development of professional pedagogical competence of teachers; the necessity to improve the system of continuous pedagogical education to successfully meet the latest requirements has been indicated. The model of teachers’ competence growth in the system of scientific methodical work of the college has been elaborated and proved, the system consists of interdependent blocks: standard-purpose (contains purpose component, legal and regulatory and scientific provision); organizational-content, that foresees successive stages (preparatory, main, resulting) of development (value-ethical, cognitive, functional, individual-psychological); diagnostic which indicates successfulness of the developed model functioning, it is grounded on specified criteria (motivational, content, personal) and on indices of professional pedagogical knowledge maturity, abilities and skills as well as professionally meaningful personal characteristics according to the levels – elementary, satisfactory, high.
