Description
Polysarcus zacharovi (Stshelkanovtzev, 1910)
Distribution in Turkey: Known from Eastern Anatolia (Karabağ, 1958; Ünal, 2010, Sevgili et al. 2012)
Previous records: Hakkari, 2500 m, 30. VIII.1952, 4♂, 3♀, leg. C. Kosswig, (Karabağ 1958); Karadağ, 2800 m, 15. VIII.1954, 13♂, 3♀, leg. P.H. Davis, (Karabağ, 1958); Karadağ, 3000 m, 04. VIII.1953, 8♂, 4♀, 2500m, 5. VIII.1953, 5♂, 3♀, leg. T. Karabağ, (Karabağ, 1958); Şemdinli, 26. VI.1965, 1♂, 1♀, leg. T. Karabağ, (Karabağ et al. 1971).
Material examined: Hakkari: Berçelan Plateu, 37°40´383´´N, 43°43´628´´E, 2829 m, 11.VIII.2020, 4♂, 2♀, 16.VI.2020, 1♂, (leg. M.S. Taylan & M. Mükemre) (Fig. 2E).
Notes: This taxon has some morphological differences with the type of P. zacharovi. It is suggested that a more detailed genetic and morphological study between other populations of taxa distributed in Eastern Anatolia.
