Description
After the Second World War, the countries of Europe and America started again trying to recover themselves from the loss of the war. With the end of colonialism, many newly independent nations were born within Asia and Africa. All these newly independent nations wanted to put themselves in the race for development. This development race had indicated that its main target would be the environment. The way in which natural resources were exploited, environmental problems also started coming to the fore. In this research article, special attention has been paid to the current issues of the environment; an attempt has been made to present an analysis of the decisions of the seminars organized by the United Nations. North-South dialogue has also been included in this. The research article specifically refers to the negotiations that began after 1960. Various perspectives behind environment and development have also been made the focus of study. Efforts have also been made to remove the curtain from the production and consumerist approach being done under the guise of development, which also talks about sustainable development and continuously harms nature. In this, the new approach that emerged after the worldwide covid-19 epidemic has also been placed at the center of the study.
