Description
Aioliops novaeguineae Rennis & Hoese 1987 —New Guinea minidartfish
Status at New Ireland. New record, based on a video of a specimen taken at Bauddisson Island, Kavieng District, at 1–35 m depth, St. KR56, in 2014 (identified by Barry C. Russell).
Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: Indonesia to Papua New Guinea. Found near sheltered inshore and lagoon reefs, 2–10 m depth. Marine.
