Description
Halichoeres richmondi Fowler & Bean 1928 —Richmond's wrasse
Status at New Ireland. New record, based on specimens observed in Kavieng Lagoon by Jeff Kinch during ACIAR Aquarium Survey in 2013 (see Teitelbaum et al. 2013: 15).
Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: Indonesia east to Marshall and Solomon Islands, north to Ryukyu Islands. Found in sheltered reefs, 1–15 m depth. Marine.
