New data on the fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae) in the fauna of Iran

Description
As a result of studies on fruit flies in Iran during 2008–2011, nine species, Campiglossa difficilis (Hendel), Tephritis admissa Hering, Tep. divisa Rondani, Tep. hendeliana Hering, Terellia fuscicornis (Loew), Ter. tussilaginis (Fabricius), Urophora anthropovi Korneyev & White, U. longicauda (Hendel) and U. pontica (Hering), are recorded for the first time from Iran. Carduus thoermeri armenus is reported as a new host plant of Tephritis hendeliana.
