Automated DDI-Compliant Metadata Extraction and Verification from Common Statistical Software File Formats

The new Roper archive data infrastructure is designed to accomplish several goals. To facilitate Roper’s archival process by automating various steps of data processing, and therefore increasing the rate of data processing while reducing the likelihood of human error. At the same time, an automate system will support higher volume concurrent processing. In addition, the system provides a well‐defined endpoint for implementing the creation and export of metadata in the current, and future DDI formats.
