Paratype: 1 [unknown sex]. MEXICO: Estado de México, Tlamacas, 27/X/1953. Col. A. Barrera; AB 85, K73, s/ nido, Cratogeomys merriami.
Conservation status: Complete, well-preserved.
Additional notes: Current synonym of Geomyphilus barrerai (Islas, 1955) (see Skelley et al., 2007).
