DESCRIPTION — MALE: Body length 1.7-2.2 mm. Head, mesosoma and metasoma dark castaneous. Head (Figure 94). Mandible with three apical teeth. Clypeus with median lobe subtrapezoidal; median tooth rounded; median carina distinctly incomplete apically and straight in profile. Frons weakly coriaceous. Mesosoma. Pronotal disc with anterior margin ecarinate, weakly coriaceous. Metapectal-propodeal complex with lateral and posterior areas ecarinate. Metasoma (Figure 188). Tergal process without depressions, when present, so with very shallow, subcircular and sublateral pair of depression, 0.4 x as long as tergite II, diverging posterad, with small and thin setae on lateral area; each depression with very small tubercle on its center or laterally, evenly wide in longitudinal section, very low, entirely dorsad, with small pit on top, with long tuft of setae dorsad. Hypopygium (Figure 278) with median stalk evenly narrow, 1.0 x as long as hypopygial plate; lateral stalk triangular; posterior margin strongly concave. Genitalia (Figures 555-557). Aedeagal dorsal body with apex lower than parameral apex, wider medially, narrowing abruptly apicad; apical lobe diamond-shaped, apex with large projection on ventral region, apical lobe diamond-shaped. Aedeagal ventral ramus with apex higher than aedeagal dorsal body apex; apical region rounded, narrow and smooth. Genital ring produced, each half straight in dorsal view.

FEMALE: Unknown.

ETYMOLOGY — The noun in apposition wilwil means bicycle in Tok Pisin.
