Basionym: Dendrochilum cornutum Blume, Bijdr. Fl. Ned. Ind.: 399 (1826).

Homotypic synonyms: Platyclinis cornuta (Blume) Benth. ex Hemsl., Gard. Chron., n.s., 16: 656 (1881). Acoridium cornutum (Blume) Rolfe, Orchid Rev. 12: 220 (1904).
