LOCALITÉ TYPE. — Timor.
REMARQUES
Wagler (1832) décrit ce taxon et le nomme Psittacula batavensis.
Les teintes vives de la tête de ces deux spécimens sont très décolorées à la suite de décennies d’exposition à la lumière dans la Grande Galerie de l’Évolution du MNHN.
