Genus Pirata Sundevall, 1833

Pirata Sundevall, 1833: 24. Type species: Araneus piraticus Clerck, 1757, from Sweden.

Remarks. Currently, 52 species are known worldwide, of which 7 species are reported from China (WSC, 2020).
