Notes on the preceding Glosses of Saiyid Sharîf, ascribed to SAIYID ‘ALÎ (‘Ajamî, d. A.H. 860). See Ḥ. Kh. 597.

Begins: قوله الفياض الوهاب اه اى الفياض الذي بمعنى الماء الكثير السيال الخ.

The last note is: قوله كما توهمه كثيرون الخ.

Irregularly written in Nasta’lîk. According to a note on the title-page (which begins من كُتُبِ من كتب

الحروف), this copy was transcribed by Fakhr al-dîn ‘Alî b. Darwîsh Muḥammad b. ‘Abdallah, for his own use. Many additional notes by the author, and some by the transcriber, are on the margin.

On the last page are noted the birth-days of three children of one Muṣṭafa, all of which have the surname of Shâh, at the beginning of the tenth century.
