Abbreviations: 1 cb, first ceratobranchial; 1 eb, first epibranchial; 2 cb, second ceratobranchial; 2 eb, second epibranchial; bhy, basihyal; chy, ceratohyal; ehy, epihyal; ghy, glossohyal; hhy, hypohyal. Different shades of grey indicate the ossification of each element: grey, cartilaginous; white, ossified. Scale bar = 1 mm.
