SYNTYPE (♀): ‘ SAÕ PAULO / BRAS. MRÁZ LGT. / MUS.PRAGENSE [p] // Stenus [p] / artipennis / Ben. [hw] / det.V.Puthz 196 [p] 7 [hw]’.
Current status. Valid species, see HERMAN (2001b).
