Male holotype. Head (Figs 20, 21), in dorsal view, moderately produced anteriorly, anterior margin narrowly rounded; apex of crown, in lateral view, directed dorsally; crown with median length 2/3 interocular width and 2/5 transocular width; temporal sutures indistinct, epicranial and frontogenal sutures distinct. Pronotum (Figs 20, 21), in dorsal view, with width slightly smaller than transocular width. Forewings (Fig. 20) without distinct membrane.
Dorsum (Figs 20, 21) dark brown with some small scattered yellow maculae on crown, pronotum, and forewings. Frons black with few small yellow maculae on dorsal half; clypeus, lora, and genae dark brown, the latter with small yellow macula on anteromedian portion. Venter dark brown. Anterior and median legs pale yellow, posterior ones brown.
Pygofer (Fig. 22), in lateral view, with macrosetae on apical portion and extending anteriorly along ventral margin; with inner short process bearing numerous setae on ventral margin. Subgenital plates (Fig. 23), in ventral view, narrowing gradually toward apex; with macrosetae near outer margin, basal portion with some setae on outer margin. Styles (Fig. 24), in dorsal view, short, extending posteriorly beyond apex of connective; with distinct median lobe on outer margin; portion beyond lobe slightly curved, with few setae; apex truncate. Connective (Fig. 24), in dorsal view, Y-shaped; stalk short. Aedeagus (Fig. 25), in lateral view, short; shaft slightly curved ventrally and, in dorsal view, with pair of lateromedian triangular projections; apical portion expanded with small dorsal lobe; dorsal aedeagal margin with process slightly exceeding shaft apex; apical portion of process acute, directed ventrally and, in dorsal view, bifurcate. Paraphyses (Figs 26, 27) with anterior pair of rami directed anterodorsally in lateral view, a little broader and longer than posterior pair, which is slightly directed inward in dorsal view; stalk broader than and as long as rami. Anal tube (segment X), in ventral view, with pair of subapical areas on ventral margin with setae similar to those of pygofer processes.
Female genitalia. Unknown.
Etymology. The specific epithet, longinqua, refers to the known geographic distribution of this species, which is far from those of the remaining species of Exogonia.
Type-material. Brazil, Mato Grosso State. Holotype: male, “ SINOP MATO GROSSO \ BRASIL X-1975 \ M. ALVARENGA Leg ” (DZUP). Paratype: one male, “ SINOP - MATO GROSSO \ BR X/1975 \ M. Alvarenga leg.” (MNRJ).
