Xiphomyrmex muralti st. flavithorax Santschi, 1914:369. Holotype worker, GHANA, Aburi, leg. F. Silvestri (NHMB) [examined]. [Combination in Tetramorium by Bolton, 1980:226; raised to species by Bolton, 1980:226].
