Geographical distribution: Brazil. There is a doubtful record from Peru (see Polhemus 1997: 171).
Distribution in Brazil: Southeast Region (MG, SP, RJ) (Bacon 1956; Vianna & Melo 2003; Moreira and Ribeiro 2009).
