Orthonotus Stephens, 1829: 344 (gen. nov.). Type species: Capsus rufifrons Fallén, 1807; subsequent designation.

Incheon-si: 1♂, Ganghwa-gun, Songhae-myeon, Dangsan-ri, 10.vi.2007, J.W. Seong. GW: 2♂, 4♀, Honcheon-gun, Sambong Natural forest, 26.vi.2003, J.W. Seong.
Distribution. Asia: South Korea (GG, GW), Japan, Russia (Far East) (Kerzhner & Josifov, 1999). Host. Quercus sp. Thunb. (Fagaceae) (new record).
