Genus Parapsallus Wagner, 1952

Psallus Parapsallus Wagner, 1952b: 173 (subgen. nov. of Psallus Wagner 1952). Type species: Capsus vitellinus Scholtz, 1847; original designation.

Distribution. European continent (Central, East); Asia: South Korea (GG, GW, JN), Japan, Russia (East Siberia, Far East); North America (Kerzhner & Josifov 1999, Duwal et al. 2013a).

Host. Abies spp. (Pinaceae) (Kerzhner 1988b).
