Inferred phylogeny of extant and fossil (indicated by arrows) Elateridae based on 134 parsimony informative non-gap-weighted adult morphological characters, with cardiophorine clade species coded from only one sex omitted. Tree is a strict consensus of 148 most parsimonious trees of 956 steps, CI = 0.27. Values above branches are decay indices, values below branches are bootstrap indices (above 50%).
