Material examined. SOUTH AFRICA. 4/11/0, Groenvlei, N-side, Goukamma NR, Western Cape Province, 34° 01.535 S 22° 51.025 E, 14.xi.2004.
Remarks. Previously reported from South Africa (K. Viets 1953) and Congo (K.O. Viets 1973b).
Notes
Published as part of Smit, H., 2012, New records of the water mite family Arrenuridae from the Afrotropical region, with the description of 11 new species and two new subspecies (Acari: Hydrachnidia), pp. 1-31 in Zootaxa 3187 on page 7
