Listronotus appendiculatus (Boheman, 1842)

Listroderes appendiculatus Boheman, 1842: 192 (type locality: USA: oriental Pennsylvania; type material: H: NHRS).

Listronotus appendiculatus; LeConte, 1876: 132.

Listronotus floridensis Blatchley, 1916: 160 (type locality: USA: Florida, Lake Okeechobee; type material: L, 5 PL: PURC); Blatchley, 1930: 39; Henderson, 1940: 307 (= L. appendiculatus).

Listronotus impressus Van Dyke, 1929: 106 (type locality: USA: California, Colusa County, Williams; type material: H: CASC); Henderson, 1940: 307 (= L. appendiculatus).

Listronotus leucozonatus Chittenden, 1926: 341 (type locality: USA: New York, Ithaca; type material: H: USNM); Henderson, 1940: 307 (= L. appendiculatus).

Host plants. Sagittaria latifolia Willdenow (Alismataceae) (O’Brien, 1977).

Distribution. Widespread in North America: Canada, Honduras, Mexico, and USA (O’Brien, 1977; O’Brien and Wibmer, 1982; Anderson, 1992).
