CURRENT STATUS: Valid genus [teste Kelsey (1969: 1)].
FAMILY: THEREVIDAE.
REMARKS: This genus-group name has not been treated in any recent regional or world catalog. The most recent treatment (Kelsey, 1969) placed it in the Therevidae.
