Laparocerus schaumii (Wollaston, 1854)
Atlantis Schaumii Wollaston 1854, p 379.
Type locality. Pico do Castello, Island of Porto Santo, Madeiran archipelago.
Lectotype: 1„ (blue card-line) [736] Porto Santo, Pico do Castello, leg. Wollaston [Type] [Atlantis schaumii /Woll. type]. MNH, London. Paralectotypes: 8 exx, same data, May 1848, April 1849. MNH, London. 17 exx, Porto Santo, leg. Wollaston. UMO, Oxford. 4 exx, 3 May 1848, same locality. MNHN (Coll. Oberthür-Wollaston), Paris. 1 ex (blue card-line) [128]. DEI (Coll. Kraatz), Müncheberg.
Remarks. The additional series of eight specimens of L. schaumii, det. Wollaston from Ponta de Sao Lourenço, in Madeira proper (NHM), is not mentioned in the original description and cannot be regarded as syntypic.
