Description

Crambus heringiellus Herrich-Schäffer, 1848

Material examined: 1♂, Zhytomyr reg., Korosten distr., Selezivka, Poliskyi Nature Reserve, at light, 15– 16.VII.2018 (V. Kavurka). 1♂, Zhytomyr reg., Korosten distr., between Maidan-Kopyshchenskyi and Khochyno, at light, 16–17.VII.2018 (V. Kavurka). 3♂, Khmelnytskyi reg., Shepetivka distr., Storonyche, lake shore Bile, at light, 17–18.VII.2018 (V. Kavurka) (all VYe).

Distribution: N Europe, N Italy, Sicily, Sardinia, C Asia (Slamka 2008); Belarus, Mongolia (Yepishin 2015); Russia: N and C of European part, Middle Volga region, Irkutsk region, Buryatia, Zabaykalsky krai, Yakutiya, Far East (Sinev & Streltsov 2019); Ukraine: Volyn (Geryak et al. 2018), Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv (Yepishin 2015) and Ternopil (Toll 1949) regions, first record for Khmelnytskyi region.
