Description

Traditional chemical, biological, and adsorption treatments have been used to remove dyes pollutants from textile wastewater, but these procedures are inadequate. Photocatalysis is a more environmentally friendly method for fully degrading hazardous dye pollutant chemicals. The produced Titania and Nickel Titania samples were exposed to photocatalytic degradation of Eriochrome Black T. The photo-degradation of Eriochrome Black T was studied at various temperatures, concentrations, and pH levels in the presence of TiO2 and Ni/TiO2. When compared to pure TiO2, the inclusion of Ni/TiO2 resulted in a more efficient photo-degradation of Eriochrome Black T. The photodegradation of Eriochrome Black T is governed by pseudo-first-order kinetics. Eriochrome Black T deterioration was more pronounced in the 180-minute examination in the presence of Ni/TiO2 than in the produced TiO2. In the case of 180-minute research, the degradation of Eriochrome Black T is 80-95 percent.
