These data files include curated Nav1.4 (voltage gated sodium channel) gene annotations of bird genomes acquired from Garg et al., 2019, Feng et al., 2020, Pujola et al. (in review), and Ernst et al. (in review) [dataset 1] and sequence alignment file (.fasta) Nav1.4 genes. 

Data Set1. Curated Nav1.4 gene annotation in bird genomes used in this study.

Data Set2. Alignment of the Nav1.4 gene of bird species used in this study.
