New state record: Mississippi: Forrest Co.: Ashe Nursery, nr. Maxie, 9-VIII-1985, E. G. Riley (2♀♀ DAR). Harrison Co.: Handsboro, 20-IX-1944, P. Brodkorb, det. R. F. Hussey 1952 (1♀ UMMZ).

Distribution: Canada: ON (Paiero et al. 2003, Roch 2020), QC (Roch 2020). United States: AL, AR, AZ, CO, CT (O’Donnell & Schaefer 2012), FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS (Packauskas 2012), LA (Stoner 1920), MD, MO (Sites et al. 2012), MS, NC, ND (Rider 2012), NJ, NM, NV, NY, OK, SC, SD (Rider 2012, Wheeler 2015b), TX, UT, VA, WA (Zack et al. 2012), WY (Wheeler 2015b). (Mexico, Bermuda)

Comments: Thomas & Yonke (1981) gave the distribution of this species as “northern Mexico, throughout southern U.S. north to Maryland, Illinois and Idaho.” Swanson (2012) reported a specimen from Michigan, but indicated that it was probably an incidental specimen and that this species should not be added to the Michigan faunal list until further specimens are discovered.
