Euschistus strenuus Stål, 1862
Distribution: United States: TX. (Mexico, Honduras)
Comments: The occurrence of this species in the U.S. is based upon a single published record, identified as Euschistus zopilotensis Distant which is now considered to be a synonym of this species, that was reported from Galveston, Texas, by Van Duzee (1904); this record was repeated by Van Duzee (1917) and Torre-Bueno (1939b). Further collecting is needed to confirm this species as a member of our fauna.
