It introduces a system of rules aimed at the protection of women and minors against all forms of violence, which is complete and attentive also in terms of promoting the culture of equality, stigmatizing any discrimination based on sex. The objectives of the text have been summarized in the "3 P": "Prevention, Protection of victims and Prosecution of Offenders".
