Folsomides semiparvulus Fjellberg, 1993
Material examined. Brazil, Restinga de Maricá, Maricá City, Rio de Janeiro State, 5 specimens in slides Nº 1278 CM / MNRJ, 28.i.2003, 18 specimens in slides Nº 1279 CM / MNRJ, 28.i.2003, L.H. Fernandes & E.A. Abrantes. coll. Collected in sand dunes, first record to Brazil.
Remarks. This species, originally described for “Punta del Hidalgo ” (Teneriff), later recorded to México (Kováč & Palacios-Vargas 1996), was found together with F. parvulus Stach, 1922 The examination of the material, agree with the original description.
