USO DE TECNOLOGIAS PARA FREAR A COVID-19 NO BRASIL

Covid-19 has become a pandemic that affected the sectors of public health, education and the economy, thus impacting the world population. As a result, several measures were taken to reduce the number of infected people, in addition to social isolation, the use of technologies was essential for the discovery of cases, as well as several others were developed and are under development to curb the pandemic. In Brazil, when these technologies are protected, they are deposited with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). The objective of this study was to map the technologies that are being developed and deposited at the INPI related to Covid-19. The methodology of this study is classified exploratory with a quantitative nature, mapping of technologies that have been developed and deposited at the INPI. The results show that Katja Prelle deposited more frequently in the INPI database over Covid-19, the classification code that appears more often in the survey was A61P 35/00, as for the countries the United States leads the ranking with the highest amount of deposited technologies and Brazil is in 3rd place. It is concluded that in the Brazilian database few technologies were found deposited on Covid-19, especially Brazil has a very small quantity of technologies deposited in this database, being only nine.
