Cheiracanthium caudatum
Authors/Creators
Description
Cheiracanthium caudatum (Thorell, 1887)
Eutittha caudata Thorell, 1887, p. 58 (description of immature ♀ (?) from MYANMAR: Yangon; Dr L. Fea leg. 1885).
Cheiracanthium caudatum: Simon 1901, p. 67.
Comments
This species is known only from the female specimen collected in Yangon Division, Myanmar (= Burma) (Thorell 1887). Thorell expressed doubt about the maturity of the examined specimen. This is the only Eutittha species for which Simon (1901 p. 67) established a new combination. The absence of figures and descriptions of the epigyne make it difficult to define this species and solve the problem of its systematic position.
