  • 1. Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research

Description

The REMIND/EDGE-T scenario data required to reproduce results for the article "Life-cycle impacts from different electrification pathways for the European car fleet".

There are REMIND/EDGE-T output files (*.mif) and EDGE-T fleet stock data (*.csv).

The scenarios describe different technology-specific pathways for the LDV sector embedded in the ecosystem of a global integrated assessment model.

  • ElecPush: Scenario focusing on BEVs
  • H2Push: Scenario focusing on FCEVs
  • Conv: Scenario focusin on ICEVs
  • ConvSyn: ICEVs with synthetic liquids

For each scenario there is a low-demand variant which considers a transformation to more sustainable mobility lifestyles.

All scenarios are subject to a 900Gt carbon budget for the time span 2011-2100.

Units in the fleet vintages files are million vehicles.
