Type: TURKEY. Cilicien, Ketsebile, 2600 m, August 1896, Siehe 308 (holotype WU!, isotypes BM!, K!).
Gagea uliginosa Siehe & Pascher var. soleimanii Bornm. ex Pascher, Bull. Soc. Imp. Naturalistes Moscou 19: 371 (1907).
Gagea soleimanii (Bornm. ex Pascher) Rech. f., Fl. Iran. 165: 43 (1990).
Type (designated by Wendelbo & Rechinger 1990): IRAN. M. Elburs, in alpe Tachti-Soleiman, ad nives prope Häsartschal, 4000–4100 m, 29 June 1902, Bornmüller 8299 (lectotype B!, isotype K!).
