In January 2019, Science Europe released its ‘Practical Guide to the International Alignment of Research Data Management’ which has been taken up by numerous Science Europe Member Organisations. Based on their experiences, this publication features their approaches in developing and implementing data management plan (DMP) requirements. It explores challenges met by researchers, their home institutions and funding organisations, both during and after implementation of the new policies, and provides examples on how researchers can be supported in their RDM efforts.
